Independence from external influences, no longer waiting for help to find its way to us on its own. Finding the inner well of courage and the ability to act, to be able to ask for help once in a while.

You can do it, this orchid whispers to you, giving you a sure gut feeling of your own strength. It reminds the hopeless of the energy and motivation they had in better times and makes them appear tangibly close. This makes one flip the inner switch and free oneself from the darkness.

Change for the better is often prevented by simply not believing it is possible and sabotaging oneself. Hope is a source of strength that one may have lost sight of and can no longer find. 

Hope as an essence opens up access to it again. It teaches you to trust yourself and others again, to feel part of the human community and to remember that together we are strong, even when the individual feels weak.
