Inner Martyr

Being able to give wholeheartedly what is really valuable.

We know the martyr pose that some throw themselves in to make others feel guilty. This is not martyrdom, but manipulation, which should be emphasized for clarification.

The martyr goes through a stage of personal development that requires a certain level of maturity, even if children sometimes sacrifice themselves to save their parents or their marriage. A martyr in our sense gives up something to help others. He doesn’t cling to property and wealth, not even to his life. All his love is directed outwards and exceeds the self-preservation drive.

Many reach this stage of development by themselves if they have achieved a lot in life and no longer pursue great goals. Rich people, rock stars, actors, athletes discover that they can pass on something that is more important to them than to win the tenth gold medal or the second billion dollars. Enrichment no longer matters after a certain stage of personal development. They set up foundations and aid organizations for people who need help or serve the common good in another way.

But you can also see it in people who are not celebrities. They give up big plans because they consciously choose to support their children. There is already an inner martyr in all parents. They give up comfort and luxury for the best of their offspring. Some even sacrifice their lives to save their child’s.

Inner Martyr frees you from the inner constraints of the ego. This mixture of Chicory, Oak and Jade teaches loving and giving, letting go and accepting.

Inner Martyr ripens the soul and prepares for wisdom and enlightenment.
