Peter Vantine – Notes of Comfort: Love
The latest and final album in my „Notes of Comfort“ series, featuring 14 solo piano instrumentals in a combination of originals and hymn improvisations.
Peaceful, contemplative, comforting solo piano music to help alleviate stress, anxiety, heartache and pain.
“But the greatest of these is love” (1 Corinthians 13:13). As this solo piano album trilogy concludes, the only thing that seemed to make sense is to base this final installment around the divine theme of love. We hear time and time again that “love conquers all”, “love is patient”, and “all we need is love”. And as crazy as all that may sound, it’s true!
Yet sometimes we feel unloved or incapable of loving. We arrive at the end of our rope and just can’t muster the emotional energy needed to elicit an act of love. This is when we especially need encouragement and a reminder that we are not alone. Understand this: YOU ARE LOVED. There is always Someone who loves you beyond your circumstances, and that Someone is with you always—Emmanuel—“God with us.”
These Notes of Comfort are meant to surround you with a warm musical hug, instilling a sense of peace and calm where you can safely rest your head. May this music remind you of those you love and those who love you . . . just because. Thank you for listening!
